Avent Straw Cup Purple Blue 200ml is a learning cup with a straw.

It is leak-proof and easy to hold. This straw cup is recommended by dentists for its adapted design that allows baby to exercise his mouth muscles and strengthen his jaw.

- Close the lid properly by screwing it clockwise to prevent it from coming off during use.
- To drink, open the lid by folding it back.
- To sterilise the straw cup and ensure better hygiene, immerse all parts in boiling water for 5 minutes.
- After each use, dismantle all parts and clean them thoroughly with hot water and washing-up liquid. You can also clean all parts in the dishwasher in the upper rack.
- If necessary, clean the straw with a straw cleaning brush.
- The cups can be sterilised using any sterilisation method.
- For hygienic and maintenance reasons, dismantle the straw cup and store it in a dry, closed box.
- For hygiene and safety reasons, it is recommended to replace the straw after 3 months of use. Only use Philips Avent straws.

Precautions for use :

- Never allow children to use this product unsupervised.
- Continuous and prolonged sucking of liquids can lead to cavities.
- Always check the temperature of the food before feeding your child.
- Check the cup before each use. If you notice any damage or cracks, stop using the cup immediately.
- Before the first use, dismantle all parts and clean them thoroughly.
- Do not allow your child to run or walk around while drinking.
- Store all unused parts out of reach of children.
- Do not heat a cup containing liquid or food in the microwave.
- The straw cup is not microwave safe.
- The straw cup is designed to hold water or milk. Do not use it with other liquids such as fruit juices, flavoured sweetened drinks, carbonated drinks or drinks containing pulp, soup or broth.
- Do not over-tighten the lid on the cup with straw.
- Do not use the straw cup to prepare and mix infant milk as this may clog the valve and cause leakage.
- Make sure that the straw components are correctly assembled.
- To avoid burns, allow hot liquids to cool before filling the cup.
- Do not interchange straw cup parts with glass bottle parts.
- Never use abrasive or antibacterial cleaning agents or chemical solvents.
- Do not place the elements directly on surfaces that have been cleaned with antibacterial cleaning agents.
- Food dyes can discolour the elements.
- Do not store the cup and straw in a dryer or steriliser with heating elements.
- Store the straw cup away from heat sources and direct sunlight.
