Seresto collars protect your dog against fleas for 7 to 8 months and up to 8 months against ticks.
CONTACT EFFECTIVENESS: Seresto® acts on parasites before they bite your pet, avoiding pain, discomfort and stress.
UNIQUE TECHNOLOGY: The Seresto® collar releases active ingredients progressively throughout the treatment and protects evenly from the head to the tail of your dog.
NO ODOUR OR GRASY TEXTURE OR TOUCH: The collar's features are designed not to interfere with the relationship between you and your pet.
REDUCES THE RISK OF LEISHMANIOSIS: This disease transmitted by sandflies is incurable and can be serious and even fatal for your dog.
GOOD TOLERANCE: Seresto® can be used in puppies from 7 weeks of age.
VETERINARY RECOMMENDATION: Seresto® is recommended by veterinarians.
The medication protects the animal's immediate environment against the development of flea larvae for 8 months.
The medication can be integrated into a therapeutic programme for Flea Allergy Dermatitis (FAD).
The product has an acaricidal (lethal) action on ticks of the species Ixodes ricinus, Rhipicephalus sanguineus and Dermacentor reticulatus and a repellent (preventing the parasites from feeding) action on Ixodes ricinus and Rhipicephalus sanguineus species for 8 months. It is effective against larvae, nymphs and adult ticks.
Ticks already present on the dog before treatment may not be killed within 48 hours after application of the collar and may remain attached and visible. Therefore, it is recommended to remove ticks already present on the dog at the time of application. Prevention against infestation by new ticks starts within two days after application of the collar.
The product provides indirect protection against the transmission of Babesia canis vogeli and Ehrlichia canis from the vector Rhipicephalus sanguineus, thus leading to a reduction in the risk of canine babesiosis and canine ehrlichiosis for 7 months.
