Buds: a source of well-being
Natural alternative medicine, gemmotherapy takes advantage of the powerful therapeutic properties of tree and shrub buds, but also of young shoots, rootlets, root barks and other growing plant tissues. Created by the Brussels doctor Pol Henry in 1959, this branch of phytotherapy is today developed by, among others, the HerbalGem laboratory. The latter, a pioneer in the field and directed by Philippe Andrianne (botanist and president of the International Gemmotherapy Association), offers concentrated organic bud macerates. HerbalGem also offers complexes based on several buds. This is the case of Noctigem, which synergistically combines lime buds with fig buds. According to a two-year study of 20 patients, nearly half of those who took Noctigem saw their deep sleep phase increase (by an average of 18 minutes), and REM sleep as well (by an average of 25 minutes more).
