DescriptionAdvantix Parasite Solution for Dogs prevents and treats flea infestations.
WIDE SPECTRUM OF ACTION: Advantix® protects against 6 parasites, the broadest spectrum of any external dog pest control product.
CONTACT EFFECTIVENESS: Advantix® works on parasites before they bite your pet, avoiding pain, discomfort and stress.
REPELLENT ACTION: Advantix® acts as an invisible protective barrier that repels ticks that are approaching your dog to bite.
GOOD TOLERANCE: Advantix® can be used on puppies as young as 7 weeks of age and on pregnant or lactating females.
PRACTICAL: Advantix® droppers are easy to apply.
Fleas on the dog are killed within 24 hours of treatment. A single treatment prevents re-infestation by fleas for 4 weeks. The drug can be integrated into a treatment programme for Flea Allergy Dermatitis (FAD).
The product has an acaricidal and repellent effect on ticks, persisting for 4 weeks (Rhipicephalus sanguineus, Ixodes ricinus) and 3 weeks (Dermacentor reticulatus).
Through its repellent and acaricidal action on the tick vector Rhipicephalus sanguineus, the product reduces the likelihood of transmission of the pathogen Ehrlichia canis, thereby reducing the risk of canine ehrlichiosis. Studies have shown that this protection starts as early as the 3rd day after application of the product and lasts for 4 weeks.
Ticks already on the dog at the time of treatment may not be killed for 2 days after treatment and may remain attached and visible. It is therefore recommended that any ticks present at the time of treatment are removed to avoid attachment and blood feeding.
A single treatment provides repellent activity (anti-gorging) against sandflies for a fortnight (Phlebotomus papatasi) to three weeks (Phlebotomus perniciosus), against mosquitoes for a fortnight (Aedes aegypti) to four weeks (Culex pipiens) and against stable flies (Stomoxys calcitrans) for four weeks.
IndicationsFor dogs weighing 10-25kg.
Prevention and treatment of flea infestations (Ctenocephalides canis, Ctenocephalides felis).
Treatment of lice infestations (Trichodectes canis).
Reduces the risk of infection with Leishmania infantum transmitted by sandflies (Phlebotomus perniciosus) for up to 3 weeks. The effect is indirect due to the activity of the product on the vector.

In case of accidental ingestion, seek medical advice immediately and show the instructions and packaging to the doctor. In this case, do not let newly treated dogs sleep with their owners, especially if they are children. To prevent children from coming into contact with the pipettes, keep the dropper in its original packaging until use, and dispose of the used dropper immediately. VGPR 11/2020.
